We are all greatly saddened by the unprecedented, catastrophic bushfire tragedy that is affecting communities and wildlife immensely across Australia.
Join hands with Emirates Nature-WWF to support WWF-Australia who have called for emergency global support to establish a $30 million Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund.
So far, more than 10 million hectares of Australian land have been burned. That’s equivalent to the whole country of Austria.
At least 25 people have died and over 2,000 homes lost.
It is estimated that as many as 1.25 billion native animals have been killed or injured in the bushfires to date. This includes the death of thousands of koalas, along with other iconic species such as kangaroos, wallabies, gliders, kookaburras, cockatoos and honeyeaters.
This is just the beginning.
Now is the time to redouble our efforts together with our partners and supporters to restore what has been lost in a time of climate emergency.
Your donations through YallaGive will not only support immediate response to this crisis but will also ensure that there are long term plans created for a new deal for nature and people.
* Emirates Nature-WWF’s partnership with Yalla Give provides UAE residents with a safe and legal channel through which to directly support impacted wildlife and nature in Australia.
